"Fellowship of Leaves is the religion of the Ljosalfar Kingdom. It worships the god of nature, Sucellus. And, as for why humans are the dominant species is because they work together more than the other races."

'I see, and just how attached are you to this book? Like, you wouldn't care if, say, it were sold to a loving home who would cherish it, would you?' I suggest, thinking of all the money I may be able to bring in off this one useless book.

I clutch the book to my chest. "N-no! This is all I have left of my familiy. I'd rather die than give it up!" I cried, tears flowing down my cheeks.

I pause in my running, a sigh escapes me. 'Fine, fine. Just quite the damn water-works! You cry more than a newborn!' I growl and sit down, causing the boy on my back to slide off and fall to the ground.

"Sorry, I haven't been able to cry for eight years, so I guess that this is me letting out my emotions..."

I huff once more and turn away, not able to handle the boy's tears without feeling guilty. 'It's fine. Look, just let it out so we can hurry up and be on our way. I'm sure your hungry, seeing as I, myself, am starving. And if we don't find a town soon, well, as a hunter, I have no objections to eating you.'

I squeaked, and nodded quickly.
"That wouldn't be good for me..." I hop back onto his back, and we take off. Soon, I see smoke in the distance. Several hours laer, we arrive at a small village. Ladis quickly changes back, and leads me into the town.
"Look! A tavern. Let's go there." I smile, and run off to the tavern.

I follow him inside, not even bothering to put clothes on, seeing as I have none.

Ladis buys some food, and we sit at a table to eat. I eagerly dig in, eating a hot meal for the first time in years. I'm interrupted by a man asking me something.
"Hey, kid, ditch this guy and come have some fun with me."

I look toward the man who just approached. He is tall and, although not as muscualr as myself, still very tough looking. Instinctively, I let out a warning growl, letting this guy know that Alain was with me.

The man grabs my arm and starts trying to drag me away. I try to escape, but he hits me over the head.
"Hush, Alain was mine before he ever met you, and I want him back!" My eyes widened. I DID know this man! He was the man who led the raiding party that killed my family.
"F-Flauros!"

I stand up suddenly and a growl of possession ripes from my throat and I snarl at the man. "Let.Him.Go."

Flauros laughs. "You really like the brat, don't you. No... You're in fucking love with him."
